WHY YOU SHOULD KEEP BEAUTY PRODUCTS IN THE REFRIGERATOR

Natural and organic is the fastest growing segment of personal care products worldwide. Whether it’s cosmetic, skin care or medicinal, these products benefit from refrigeration to extend their shelf life. Without parabens, sulfates or other preservatives, natural personal care products can spoil quickly if not refrigerated.

In addition to extending a products shelf life and maintaining potency, chilled products have additional benefits over that of a room-temperature product. Experts suggest keeping eye creams in the refrigerator, as the cold temperature reduces the swelling that causes under-eye bags. You can also chill Aloe Vera to cool sunburned skin, or refrigerate face mists to give yourself a refreshing spa moment every time you spray.

Bottled water, medication and vitamins are also popular items to keep refrigerated. Perlick has a variety of sizes and styles in undercounter refrigeration that can be easily incorporated into any master suite design, including our 15” Signature Series Refrigerator Drawers – also known as the Perlick Beauty Drawers. Refrigeration offers temperature control as well as protects contents from the humidity produced from the shower.
